Job Summary

Under general supervision, uses specialized knowledge and skills obtained through education, experience and/or, specialized training to perform functional administration tasks supporting Procurement requirements to ensure compliance with policies and procedures and requirements to the Procure-to-Pay (P2P) PeopleSoft system as well as other systems used within Procurement. Serve as the training administrator for business processes requiring collaboration with team members and the business units. Conduct training sessions for team members and end users and assist in projects of moderate scope and complexity. May support contract-related activities in the form of monthly/quarterly contract quality reviews, supplier registration submission and maintenance, and contract cleanups to enhance data quality in the system. Guidance is provided to perform varied work that is frequently difficult requiring some evaluation, originality, and ingenuity to make moderately complex decisions. Extensive contact with team members and internal stakeholders is required to train Procurement processes, as well as to identify, research, and resolve problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Adheres to Procurement's established standards and maintains currency in business analysis practices, procedures, and techniques.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Knowledge of

Procurement concepts, practices, policies, and procedures contracting best practices.

Skill in

Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).

Ability to

Attend to detail while maintaining a big-picture orientation.

Educational/Previous Experience Requirements

Education/Previous Experience

Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) and relevant financial and analytical experience and up to two(2) years of experience working in Procurement Administration, including policies, procedures.
