As an Operations Control Management (OCM) Analyst within the OCM team, which is a key support function for Operations which enables them to meet demands from Business and Regulators. You are responsible for oversight of the Firms control environment for CIB Operations and is part of the Firms first line of defense. You will identify risks and design and execute controls to manage material risks, process and control design to effectively comply with applicable laws, rules, and regulations. Implementation of the risk management framework, including assess and manage risks when developing and implementing new, modified, or expansion of new products and services. You will be supporting our Operations partners covering Business such as but not limited to Markets/Banking/Securities Services across 14 locations in the APAC region, and collaborates with other stakeholders including Audit, Compliance, Front Office etc. both regionally and globally to supporting the overall control agenda for CIB.

Job Responsibilities

  • Implement various process improvement initiatives to drive enhancement of efficiency / remove redundancies
  • Be responsible to prepare and automate where possible on content used for different control forums and manage the risk/issues together with stakeholders
  • Assist managers on managing their project deliverables such as governance, meetings, tracking, and presentations
  • Engage / manage stakeholders from various functions / lines of businesses (Operations, technology, compliance, business managers, finance, etc) to ensure smooth delivery of process improvement tasks assigned
  • Monitor and track progress of risks/issues identified
  • Participate in cross line of businesses control initiatives

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor degree or equivalent, major in finance or accounting
  • Self-motivated and detail-minded person who is able to work across team with good communication skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks effectively
  • Proficiency in excel, including experience with pivot tables, macros, and other advanced excel functions
  • Good command of English and Cantonese

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • 1 year of experiences in financial institution is preferred
  • Familiar with new digital tools like Alteryx, Tableau, UI Path
