Summary
The Operations Associate performs a variety of duties on a limited basis to support Annuity and Insurance Operations. The Associate will be processing changes, reviewing and imaging documents to be submitted to carriers, and follow-up of all transactions.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Processes a high volume of time-sensitive financial transactions, including full and partial surrenders, death claims, systematic withdrawals, etc. via workflow.
- Reviews documents, prepares for submission to carriers and images.
- Enters transaction details into Annuity Database and performs follow up.
- Reconciles financial transaction reports and checks received.Answers telephones, responds to emails, directs calls and takes messages.
- Maintains and updates filing, inventory, mailing, and database systems.
Qualifications
- Ability to check figures, postings, and documents for correct entry, mathematical accuracy, and proper codes.
- Knowledge of administrative and clerical procedures and systems, managing files and records, and other standard office procedures and terminology.
- Ability to communicate information and ideas in spoken or written form so that others will understand.
- Knowledge of principles and processes for providing customer and personal services.
Education & Experience
- Minimum Required High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum Required 0-2 years' professional business related experience.
Systems & Technology
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook.
