Wells Fargo is seeking a Network Engineering Manager.
In this role, you will
- Manage and develop team of individual contributor roles with low to moderate complexity and risk in Network Engineering area
- Oversee the support of companys computer system, including LANs, WANs, internet, network segments and other data communication systems
- Engage stakeholders and internal partners associated with the Network Engineering functional area
- Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement and risk control development
- Troubleshoot, maintain and repair networked communication system for any kind of issues reported by end-users, and the administration of the systems
- Ensure issues are resolved and no hindrances to accessing organizational resources for users
- Make decisions and resolve issues regarding objectives and operations of network engineering functional area and team to meet business objectives
- Interpret and develop policies and procedures for functions with low to moderate complexity within scope of responsibility
- Utilize networking management software and testing tools to fine tune systems and optimize system performance, monitor and implement security measures and streamline network functions
- Collaborate with and consult with peers, colleagues and multiple level managers
- Manage allocation of people and financial resources for Network Engineering
- Mentor and guide talent development of direct reports and assist in hiring talent
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years of Network Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
- 2+ years of Leadership experience
- BE or equivalent with strong experience in senior management roles leading large Network Engineering teams for a large enterprise, preferably for Banking and Financial Services organization
- 3 + years' experience in leading a team as a Manager
- In-depth knowledge in WAN transport systems/services, LAN switching technology, routing protocols, SDWAN, Wireless LAN.
- Strong hands-on experience with Network hardware like switches, routers, WLAN devices from Industry leading equipment vendors.
- Prior experience in automating various activities related Network
- Strong demonstrated people development skills to hire, coach, develop, and mentor team members.
Desired Qualifications
- Experienced in Routing and Switching
- Experience in new technologies such as cloud-based network solutions.
- Experience with LAN, WAN, WLAN, SDWAN hardware from Cisco, Arista
- Network Planning, Design, and Implementation
- Experienced with project coordination
- Proven experience in initiating and driving end to end process improvement
