The National Safe Deposit Box (SDB) Team is a 100% travel group made up of two-person teams across the United States. The NSDB team is responsible for conducting audits, box drilling, and performing additional duties as needed.

Job Summary

As a SDB Team member you will be part of a two person team responsible for performing the safe deposit box audit and drill process at branches located within an assigned geographic area. This position supports multiple states and requires substantial out of town travel. All candidates should expect to work in different branches Monday through Friday from 900 AM to 500 PM local time with a great deal of physical activity. The SDB team members will need to be flexible and are expected to work independently to resolve outstanding issues.

Job responsibilities

  • Travels as part of daily responsibilities many trips require week-long stays and positions will support branches located throughout an entire state or multiple states. Expect to be working in branches 100% of the time.
  • Punctual and professional representation in appearance and communication with branch staff.
  • Organized and responsible for execution of drill process in dual control at Chase branches (fully engaged during drills, perform detailed inventory of contents, prepare shipment of contents etc.).
  • Detail oriented, responsible for making updates to various systems and completing required paperwork accurately.
  • Works independently - does not require constant supervision.
  • Willing to travel for extended periods of time to assist with business resiliency or special projects when needed.

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Must obtain and maintain state required registrations and licenses. For notary states, must be or become a notary within 6 months of hire date, as required
  • Must be flexible and willing to travel 100% of the time with a valid Driver's License and working vehicle.
  • Very strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Adobe Professional
  • Strong analytical and time management skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task and work well under pressure
  • Ability to perform well in a deadline-driven, fast-paced and changing environment
  • Ability to interface with people at different levels within the organization and various locations
  • Ability to lift 40 lbs. without assistance
  • Ability to frequently climb stairs repeatedly throughout the day
  • Ability to use hardware tools, such as a screw driver

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Prior Banking/Branch experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of Anti-Money Laundering/Know Your Customer and Regulatory requirement
  • Experience with booking travel and some independent travel history is a plus
