Key Responsibilities

  • Support and facilitate monitoring of model risk policy requirements and related metrics, escalate breeches, and manage exceptions.
  • Coordinate and perform subject matter expert reviews and oversight of model governance, model identification, model use and model controls in the first line of defense.
  • Maintain and improve the model inventory and findings repository tool for limited- or medium-scope projects.
  • Collaborate with senior management and colleagues in business and staff functions across the enterprise in the development, review and revision of model risk policies, procedures, and standards.
  • With supervision, design and deliver training to partners on policies, procedures, standards, and systems.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of Risk Management, Financial Analytics, Banking, Modeling, or a related field.
  • Post-secondary education and relevant work experience may be interchanged to meet the combined total years of minimum required qualifications for education and experience.
  • Proven ability to apply both strategic and analytic techniques to provide business solutions and recommendations.
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill.

Preferred Qualifications

Familiar with SR 11-7/OCC 2011-12.
