The ideal candidate will support the business by coordinating firmwide marketing activities and implementing and overseeing the firm's marketing plan including branding, website, social media, press strategy, industry conference participation, and planning/distribution of content and thought leadership materials. This role will work closely with third-party vendors, NYLIM resources, compliance, investor relations, and investment professionals. A strong marketing background, an understanding of the investment industry and client base, strong project management skills, and an eye for design detail are necessary for the position. This is a new role so an entrepreneurial and proactive approach is necessary.
What Youll Do
- Execute and oversee Apogem's marketing plan across a variety of channels including social media, press, website design, email campaigns
- Create marketing content and messaging, including social media posts, presentations, banner ads, and external communications that effectively position and explain the firm's investment strengths and offerings
- Collaborate with external agencies and partners to align marketing efforts and maximize reach
- Closely collaborate with internal colleagues on marketing activities including external communications, conferences, events, digital strategies, campaigns, and public relations
- Contribute to the curation of private investments-related content on the firm's website as well as in digital promotion strategies and campaigns such as email campaigns, paid search strategies, LinkedIn advertising, etc.
- Manage and utilize CRM system (DealCloud) to enhance marketing automation and personalization
- Contribute to the strategy for new product launches and promotional activities
- Foster a culture of innovation, continuously exploring new marketing channels and techniques
- Remain educated on industry trends, competitor marketing and innovations, while incorporating best practices into the company's marketing strategies
- Develop metrics to track overall engagement and the success of marketing campaigns, social media, website, and advertising
What Youll Bring
- Four-year college degree
- 5 - 7 years of marketing experience in financial services experience in alternative investments preferred
- Exceptional written and communication skills
- Graphic design skills
- Diligence in managing projects and extreme attention to detail
- Strong organizational skills must be able to multi-task and manage priorities
- Ability to work well in a team environment and collaborate across multiple business units
