a Market Data Business Analyst, based in our Houston or Philadelphia office, and become part of a global team that works closely with the business units and technology teams in providing support, analysis, advice and guidance as it relates to market data. the Americas Market Data Team is responsible for the end-to-end procurement and management of Market Data across Macquarie Group..

What role will you play?
You will be providing advice and analysis on market data products, interpreting and defining business requirements as well as
analyzing more cost effective ways to use data across the enterprise
Your relationship building skills will be utilized as you effectively interact with stakeholders, operations and technology teams as well as developing and maintaining strong relationships with our market data vendors.
Additionally, you will be responsible for matching best product to user needs, ensuring contract management, validating commercial framework, maintaining terms & conditions, evaluating vendor and product offerings, ensuring compliance with contracts terms and defining reporting requirements for business units.
What you offer
- 5 years plus of relevant financial services experience, preferable in Energy markets
- Experience working with Market data vendors such as Platts, Argus, Refinitiv(LSEG), Bloomberg as well as exchanges ICE, CME etc.
- Experience working with Market Data platforms in the energy sector
- Experience with market data licensing and vendor negotiations
- Adept at interpreting Market data agreements, contractual terms, data usage and distribution.
