Responsibilities
Support the Vice President and Director, Portfolio Management in the development, implementation and maintenance of ESG, risk, and other asset management programs across portfolio companies.
Asset Management Specific
Responsibilities
- Develop a strong understanding of operating businesses, including ad-hoc analysis over certain operational metrics
- Prepare quarterly risk presentations for Brookfield senior management and our Board
- Provide oversight of quarterly/annual financial reporting submissions from operating assets including reviewing growth capital expenditure projects for variance analysis from budget to actuals, rate of return, and scope delays
- Assist in overseeing the managed risk system across the Infrastructure Group
- Identify and

- Support the onboarding and integration of new acquisitions into Brookfields asset management program
- Support the business partners in executing the Group's portfolio governance processes, including monitoring programs such as anti-bribery and corruption, supply chain, and board governance
- Strategic ad-hoc analysis and special projects as required
Sustainability Specific
Responsibilities
- Manage, analyze and monitor ESG key performance drivers
- Take responsibility for ESG management and reporting for both public and private fund purposes
- Frequent communication with operating asset finance teams and with public and private fund finance teams to support investor relations, board reporting, and ESG initiatives
- Research and communicate evolving ESG frameworks, networks, and regulations and synthesize the information for the portfolio management team
- Manage, analyze and monitor greenhouse gas emissions inventory for Brookfield Infrastructure
- Assess and validate climate-related risks and opportunities for each portfolio company
- Manage, analyze and monitor health & safety related incidents on a quarterly basis for reporting
Requirements
- Recently qualified
- CPA, CA
- Demonstrated leadership ability and is a team player, willing to always support the team
- Strong communication skills (oral and written) and interpersonal skills
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving ability willingness to dive into the details
- Ability to adapt to change in a fast-paced environment
- Strong PowerPoint and Excel skills, including the ability to review and update financial models and prepare high quality presentations
