Major Duties

  • Collaborate closely with Portfolio Solutions Strategists to ensure the successful implementation of client activity within agreed timelines.
  • Work in partnership with partners in Brokerage Operations to continuously enhance operational efficiency and risk control.
  • Manage and oversee relationships with external counterparties in the FX and Futures domains.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to the Business Head, contributing to the development of business priorities and overall strategy.
  • Drive change by prioritizing initiatives and aligning resources accordingly to meet strategic goals.
  • Take ownership and ensure the successful delivery of strategic business initiatives.
  • Optimize business performance by leading key service delivery initiatives.
  • Work with the Business Head on the annual business budget process.
  • Chair the Quarterly Portfolio Solutions Business Council and represent Portfolio Solutions in the broader Risk Councils.
  • Collaborate with Risk & Compliance to ensure compliance with changing global regulatory requirements.
  • Respond to requests from regulators as needed.
  • Coordinate periodic testing and reviews with internal parties such as Audit, Risk, and Compliance.
  • Provide day-to-day team management for Implementation Managers, setting goals, conducting performance reviews, and assigning tasks.
  • Act as a point of direction and escalation for the team, observing, monitoring, and controlling productivity.
  • Offer ad hoc/general business management support as required.

Knowledge

  • Seasoned multi-disciplinary expert with extensive technical and / or business knowledge and functional expertise
  • Excellent communication skills, together with influencing and
  • relationship-building
  • Able to collaborate across lines of businesses and work with central/corporate organizations, building a strong network
  • Working with big sets of data and analysing this to find conclusions.
  • Drive trends and provide new conclusions or perspectives on new findings.
  • Working collaboratively with business partners HR, Compliance and Finance in order to support day to day business activities.

Experience

  • Licenses as required by the governing bodies with the specific region.
  • Significant experience within Financial Services.
  • Prior experience of producing management information reporting for senior stakeholders alongside resource and budget management.
  • A university/college degree or equivalent and/or relevant proven work experience is required
  • Ability to operate autonomously with an ability to face off to the management team, demonstrates a willingness to take initiative and work independently, a problem solver
  • Demonstrated ability to influence business leaders and partner well as part of a global business
  • Strong focus on understanding and contributing to the strategic business vision, with a focus on improving the bottom line.
  • Sound judgment, professional maturity, personal integrity, and a strong work ethic.
  • A proactive and results-oriented outlook, with the courage to ask tough questions and challenge the status quo.
  • Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy and precision in all tasks.
