What is the opportunity?
You will provide effective leadership to the team ensuring direction and motivation of the team and take ownership of employee and client satisfaction. You will oversee the day to day running and oversight of all Banking and Payments functions, including the control of all reporting, monitoring, statistical analysis and identifying and implementing efficiency opportunities.
What will you do?
- Plan the preparation, review and submission of management reporting.
- Oversee the process of trading conducted by Capital Markets/Wealth Management traders, ensuring they are accurately captured and settled within set deadlines.
- Oversee all trade confirmation matching and Robotic Process Automation undertaken on behalf of the department.
- Manage the processing of Banking transactions which require a physical presence in office i.e. cheques collections, cheque books etc.
- Drive to be the Operations subject matter expert for any new or ongoing projects related to processes/products associated with the Team.
What do you need to succeed?
Must-have
- A strong technical knowledge of payment processes and banking products.
- A high level of understanding of traded instruments and settlement mechanisms.
- Proven experience with operational control and workflows.
Nice-to-have
- Qualified Banking or Qualified Securities professional.
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Macro's and VBA for simplification of non-standard and manual processes.
