Key Responsibilities

  • To accomplish this, the person is responsible for the following along with any other functions assigned as part of the requirements to meet the larger goal mentioned above
  • Legal review of power of attorneys submitted by various clients of Ameriprise communication of the findings to specific team.
  • Legal review of life events and resolve CAM queries.
  • Legal research and summarization of various rules and regulations or other relevant documents.
  • Any other similar to-dos as part of the larger team.

Required Qualifications

  • Law Graduate preferably from a tier 1 institute with experience in review of legal memos/ documents/ agreements or other legal review/ analysis functions
  • Must demonstrate excellent understanding of legal language and analytical skills.
  • Excellent English language skills both written & spoken. Candidate should have excellent interpersonal skills as the role involves regular communication with counterparts within and outside the US GCO.
  • Ability to multi-task, strong attention to detail, excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills are essential for this position
  • Moderate to high-level experience in Microsoft Office products (specifically Word and Excel)
