In this exciting opportunity, you will be joining an established team of Learning and Development professionals as we support IT CDAO (Chief Data and Analytics Office) in elevating Data Literacy at Vanguard. The Data Literacy program is a multi-year initiative that has been established as a key, enterprise priority driving our ability to make data-driven decisions throughout our global footprint and truly be a disrupter in our industry. As part of this collaborative and high-performing team, you will have the unique opportunity to explore new vendor relationships, shape and build new learning offerings, and use your creativity to engage our enterprise-wide audience. In addition to offering opportunity to further enhance your skills in the learning and development space, this role will provide you with broad visibility and exposure to various strategic priorities (like GenAI) within IT and CDAO.

In this role, you will

  • Determine learning needs in consultation with internal partners and identify key learning and development objectives for a business unit or job areas various employees.
  • Create curricula, supporting materials, and various related programs and modules for learning and development initiatives.
  • Ensure learning courses and programs are delivered through the most suitable methodologies, such as individual coaching, classroom training, virtual learning, and various other modules.
  • Assist in evaluating the impact of learning and development programs on crew development, performance, and career plans.
  • Participate in special projects and performs other duties as assigned.

What it takes

  • Experience or working understanding of adult learning and development concepts
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • An educational mentality
  • Project management experience preferred
  • Instructional design skills/experience strongly preferred
  • Vendor management experience preferred
  • Five years related work experience.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
