Position Title

Job Description

Perform systems analysis for the development of client reporting, tools, and new technologies for Wellington's Client Services Group (CSG), Product Management, and Information Technology development teams. Support reporting needs across all asset classes and the broader firm by working closely with the Client Applications Business Team. Focus on requirements analysis and contribute to additional development and quality assurance efforts in support of Wellington's client reporting. Work closely with the development team as solutions are implemented. Interface with senior business members across CSG and Product Management to understand and validate report requests and provide recommendations accordingly. Coordinate the efforts required of internal business partners, software developers, and data vendors, aiding with testing, deployment, training, and support. Position is fixed location based in Boston office however, telecommuting from a home office may also be allowed.

Job Requirements

Master's degree (or foreign equivalent) in Applied Computer Science, Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or a directly related field plus four (4) years of business analysis or systems analysis experience in investment management or a financial services environment.

Must have 4 years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently)

  • Experience with Fixed Income, Derivative, and Equity instruments, and analytic systems
  • Generating data in an Institutional Investment Vehicle/Reporting environment
  • Experience with buy side back-office portfolio accounting systems, including Geneva and Clearwater
  • Experience with client lifecycle management tools, including Salesforce
  • Supporting a cross-technology production environment, including writing SQL commands, and navigating relational databases to resolve investment data issues
  • Experience with SQL query skills
  • Experience with Relational databases and tools, including Oracle DB, MySQL, or Snowflake

Must have 3 years of experience in each of the following (experience may be gained concurrently)

  • Experience with third party market data applications, including Factset, Bloomberg, or Morningstar
  • Technical experience in one of the following vendor reporting solutions OBIEE, Tableau, or Jasper

Will accept a Bachelor's degree plus seven (7) years of described experience.

40 hours/week, 900am-500pm,

$140,000-180,000/year.
