Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Software Engineer
In this role, you will
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor

Required Qualifications
- A minimum of 10-12 years of experience as a lead software engineer, preferably in a DevOps or pipeline management role.
- Ability to design and develop nodejs based apps and having good knowledge on Javascript
- Extensive knowledge and experience in software development, version control, continuous integration, and deployment processes.
- Basic product knowledge and administrative exposure to any of the following CICD tools/technologies Artifactory (Binary/Dependency Management), BlackDuck (SCA Scan), Checkmarx (SAST Scan), SonarQube (Code Quality/Coverage), etc.,
- Experience in in-memory database (such as Redis, etc.,), No-SQL database (i.e., MongoDB, etc.,)
- Exposure to Linux server management platforms (i.e., AKS-Public/Public, TKGI-PKS, PAS-PCF, etc.,)
- Experience in distributed microservices architecture
- Proficiency in GitHub Actions and demonstrated experience in designing and implementing pipelines using this automation platform.
- Strong understanding of enterprise-level pipeline management, including legacy systems and NextGen applications.
- Experience in architecting scalable and efficient pipeline architectures.
- Solid programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- Familiarity with containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) and container orchestration platforms (e.g., Kubernetes).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to address complex pipeline issues.
- Strong leadership and communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams and stakeholders.
- Experience in documenting architectures, workflows, and best practices.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Container Technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes
- Knowledge in NoSQL, MongoDB
- Good to have - Certifications on Azure, GCP
