highly skilled and motivated Lead Software Engineer with a strong foundation in machine learning to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will lead the charge in embedding advanced predictive analytics across our product suite, driving innovation and enhancing user experiences through data-driven insights. In this role, you will
- Lead complex technology initiatives including those that are companywide with broad impact
- Act as a key participant in developing standards and companywide best practices for engineering complex and large scale technology solutions for technology engineering disciplines
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs
- Review and analyze complex, large-scale technology solutions for tactical and strategic business objectives, enterprise technological environment, and technical challenges that require in-depth evaluation of multiple factors, including intangibles or unprecedented technical factors
- Make decisions in developing standard and companywide best practices for engineering and technology solutions requiring understanding of industry best practices and new technologies, influencing and leading technology team to meet deliverables and drive new initiatives
- Collaborate and consult with key technical experts, senior technology team, and external industry groups to resolve complex technical issues and achieve goals
- Lead projects, teams, or serve as a peer mentor
- Lead the development and implementation of machine learning models to support strategic initiatives.
- Collaborate with various teams to integrate machine learning solutions that enhance product functionality and user satisfaction.
- Manage the full project lifecycle for machine learning efforts, from conceptualization and data collection to model training, evaluation, and deployment.
- Develop a microservices-based infrastructure to support the seamless integration and scalable growth of our platform.
- Provide mentorship and technical leadership, promoting best practices in machine learning and software development while also fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and collaboration.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and advancements in machine learning, assessing and integrating new technologies and methodologies where beneficial.
Required Skills
- 5+ years programming languages such as Python, R, Java, or C# with solid understanding of software development principles.
- 4+ years experience with machine learning frameworks and libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).
- 4+ years experience in designing and implementing RESTful APIs
- 4+ years eexperience in designing and development highly scalable distributed systems using Microservices Architecture.
- 4+ years engineering experience on MLOps pipeline
- 4+ years experience on distributed training, inference leveraging frameworks like Spark
- Exposure on deployment servers - Flask, StreamLit, FastAPI
Desired skills
- Experience in Data streaming platforms like Kafka
- Proficiency in cloud technologies (with hands-on experience in Azure and/or PCF)
- Experience with CI/CD and DevSecOps Engineering. Used at least few of the tools like - Jenkins, GitHub, Artifactory, SonarQube, Checkmarx, uDeploy, Harness etc
