Key Responsibilities
- Report to and work closely with the QA Manager in creating and maintaining test plans, test strategies and testing road maps, tracking, and reporting on testing progress, quality metrics and milestones.
- Manage, direct, and coordinate UAT testing teams.
- Mentor and guide testing teams on the creation and execution of test cases Prioritize and assigns test responsibilities to the testing team.
- Assists in formulating QA standards and best practices, organizational policies and processes and strategic plans.
- Assists management in setting the direction for quality assurance within the organization.
- Assists in recruiting new staff, conducting interviews and evaluate potential candidates.
- Occasionally design, create and maintain automated test projects to verify the performance and functionality of software products and services.
- Work with test automation teams to meet the automation goals per the test plan.
- Work effectively with development team members, product management, contract staff, and customer engineers to solve extremely challenging technical and design problems.
- Assist with defect triage and coordination of UAT testing defects.
- Support test manager to collate and consolidate QA metrics for reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Proven experience in all aspects of Automation Dev, DevOps CI/CD, Software Testing and QA.
- Hands on knowledge of testing tools & methodologies.
- Strong knowledge of software QA/ QE methodologies/ tools/ processes.
- Good experience with Manual Functional testing and Automation scripting.
- Ability to understand the scope of project and creating proposal, planning, estimations.
- Exposure to Solutioning Complex problems in testing automation space. Working experience in software development & software quality assurance.
- Team handling experience. Visible leadership/managerial skills is a key factor for this position.
- Exceptional analytical skills, excellent communication, strong team ethic, and attention to details-be meticulous.
- Experience with defect management applications like, Jira, xRay
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience using QA metrics effectively.
- Experience in managing cloud technology platforms.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or other related field from an accredited college/university.
