Key Responsibilities

  • Support and facilitate monitoring of model risk policy requirements and related metrics, escalate breeches, and manage exceptions.
  • Perform subject matter expert reviews and oversight of model governance, model identification, model use and model controls in the first line of defense.
  • Maintain and enhance the model inventory and findings repositories tool for limited-scope projects.
  • With supervision, design and deliver training to partners on policies, procedures, standards and systems.
  • Collaborate with senior management and colleagues in business and staff functions across the enterprise in the development, review and revision of model risk policies, procedures and standards.

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in model risk management, analytical risk management or finance in banking or insurance
  • Proven ability to apply both strategic and analytic techniques to provide business solutions and recommendations
  • Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
