Role Summary

Manages a large team of professionals who review applicable legal requirements and develops the responses related to various registrations for firms investment vehicles in variety of international jurisdictions. Consults with business managers regarding the planning, implementation, and monitoring of compliance and risk management requirements.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as a primary contact with internal and external representatives providing services to the firm related to investment registrations. Leads the process of creating reports for parties both inside and outside the firm.
  • Ensures that specific government reporting requirements and deadlines are met. Leverages relationships with business leaders to understand their specific concerns and builds rapport with external auditors.
  • Evaluates trends and process improvement ideas, presenting a synthesized recommendation to senior leadership. Ensures staff have required resources to execute their assigned activities.
  • Recruits, directs, motivates, and develops staff, maximizing their individual contribution, their professional growth, and their ability to function effectively with their colleagues as a team. Ensures resources are appropriately allocated. Oversees hiring, training, and coaching of supervisors and the entire staff. Hosts team meetings.

Qualifications

Required

  • Bachelors degree or the equivalent combination of education and relevant experience AND
  • 8+ years of total relevant work experience and 2+ years of management experience

FINRA Requirements

FINRA licenses are not required and will not be supported for this role.

Work Flexibility

This role is eligible for remote work up to two days a week.
