Lead Analyst, Change Management-2401347
Description
This position will follow our hybrid work model we expect the selected candidate to work 2-3 days a week at our St. Petersburg, FL, corporate office.
Job Summary
You will be responsible for managing and administering the Raymond James change management lifecycle, ensuring changes efficiently meet control objectives, that the lifecycle is intuitive and transparent for participants, and that critical linkages with dependent ITIL processes exist. You will proactively address complex problems independently and demonstrate analytical thinking. You will be able to make sound decisions and recommendations based on the analysis and interpretation of data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Reviews, processes, tracks, documents, and coordinates the change requests submitted for production changes to minimize the impact or downtime on production.
- Leads the monthly change management compliance audits and associated metrics.
- Responds to internal and external audit requests.
- Acts as project leader for designated projects as assigned.
- Provides support and recommendations to Information Technology (IT) departments concerning the use of Change Management tools and processes.
- Assists in maintaining and reviewing the schedule for IT changes to enable proper scheduling and provide information about the changes to IT management.
- Participates in/Leads the Change Advisory Board and other relevant change-related meetings.
- Creates and maintains documentation for change management tools and processes.
- Evaluate and recommend methods and tools for streamlining and improving the change process.
- Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Experience within a highly regulated environment like Financial Services is highly preferred.
- ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management.
- Advanced knowledge of the following is highly preferred
- Designing, implementing, and maintaining change management processes via service management tools (Service Now preferred).
- Leading the Change Advisory Board (CAB)
- Software development and/or systems integration
- Basic ITIL Release Management practices.
- General knowledge of networking, DevOps, Windows and Linux servers, standard operating systems, cloud (AWS), and personal computer applications
- May occasionally work a non-standard shift, including nights and/or weekends, and/or have on-call responsibilities
Educational/Previous Experience Requirements
- Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, MIS, or related degree and five (5) years of relevant experience in enterprise change management or a combination of education, training, and experience.
Licenses/Certifications
- ITIL Foundation Certification in IT Service Management.
