State Street seeks to recruit a Vice President for the Cross Risk Execution and Governance for Global Technology Services (GTS) to be part of a team driving execution of risk / controls initiatives cross-functionally. This role will drive compliance with the global issues management standard, facilitate responses to audit and regulatory inquiries, drive conformance / remediation across teams / applications with new policies and standards, and provide reporting for GTS.

You will

  • Regulatory Projects execute key projects of work across global technology services to deliver against our regulatory commitments
  • Provide key input to and assist in the preparation of submissions of audit and regulatory responses to examinations questionnaires, ensuring accuracy and completeness and in compliance with regulatory guidelines
  • Risk Assessment and Mitigation Identify and assess regulatory risks and propose appropriate mitigation strategies. Provide regulatory input to risk management activities, including risk assessments and risk mitigation plans.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to validate issues and draft Management Actions (remediation responses) for all valid issues

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • 8+ years experience in financial services industry with IT risk, regulatory, audit or technology operations knowledge/experience
  • Extensive experience in program delivery across programs of work that include technology transformation, regulatory and risk
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, program management skills, and a commitment to ensuring timely and accurate stakeholder reporting
  • Strong interpersonal and communication (verbal and written) skills
  • Client service skills - must demonstrate the judgment and ability to closely partner with and advise business and technology leaders (and other stakeholders) on audit and issues-related matters
  • Ability to learn new products, services, businesses while supporting them
  • Strong analytical skills, solid judgment, and the ability to evaluate complex business issues
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, including by demonstrating excellent time management and planning skills
