Job DetailsDescriptionSummaryThe IT Project Manager directs the design and development of the lifecycle for specified projects. The Project Manager (PM) is responsible for the planning, implementing, and tracking projects for various operations area(s). The PM must communicate with internal departments and third-party vendors to manage the departments workflow. Additionally, the PM is responsible for managing the project team to plan and prioritize work within the specified project.Essential Duties & ResponsibilitiesEstablishes and implements project management processes and methodologies for the IT community to ensure projects are delivered on time and within budget, adhere to high-quality standards, and meet customer expectations.Manages technical and non-technical aspects of the project.Plans, schedules, and ensures timely completion of the project.Assembles project teams and manages resource allocation and day-to-day operations of the project.Serves as liaison between team members and management team regarding projects.Responsible for monitoring and tracking the progress of all projects managed within their assigned area.Define project scope, goals, and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with business users and stakeholders.Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards.Responsible for the entire life cycle management of a technology/digital product or type, including purpose, definition, design, planning, development, prototyping, and testing.Applies design thinking techniques (e.g., user stories, wireframing, prototyping) to define product features develops the roadmap based on effort sizing and overall value to the business.QualificationsAbility to organize, prioritize, and manage multiple tasks, meeting all specific deadlines.Ability to use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, or problem approaches.Build and maintain collaborative relationships with both internal and external clients.Proven experience overseeing the design, development, and implementation of software and hardware solutions, systems, or products.Knowledge of the financial industry rules and regulations is preferred.Education & ExperienceBachelors Degree in Business or technical field or equivalent professional experience required.5+ years of related experience.License & CredentialsCertification in project management (e.g., PMP, Prince2) is preferred.Certification or having worked in a SAFe Agile environment is preferred.Systems & TechnologyProficient in Atlassian JIRA software related to Agile Project Management.Familiarity with tools such as Microsoft Project or SmartSheets.About StifelStifel is a more than 130 years old and still thinking like a start-up.
