Investment Product Strategy Analyst

Investment Product Strategy Analyst

within the Cross-Category Research team

In this role, you will

  • Lead project teams comprised of Vanguard's subject matter experts to help solve complex investment and product problems and deliver recommendations to our Global Investment Committee.
  • Conduct deep analysis of strategic, competitive, client and market issues related to Vanguards investment product line-up.
  • Collaborate with our Investment Management Group, legal, and business partners to monitor and manage certain investment policy-related committees and lead policy projects.
  • Create and deliver memos and materials in a timely and well executed fashion.
  • Develop and demonstrate your skills as an excellent written and verbal communicator.
  • Persuade and influence leaders across the enterprise.
  • Develop and maintain broad and deep knowledge of the asset management industry, market and product, and competitive dynamics.
  • Advance research excellence by proactively seeking ways to improve research processes, stakeholder engagements, and overall product planning.
  • Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.

What it takes

  • Three years related work experience, including one year experience in the investment industry.
  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of training and experience.
  • CFA (or working towards) is a preference, not a requirement.
