About this role
We are looking for a team member with a financial / accounting / data analysis background to work within the Client Success team as a Client Operations Investment Data Analyst (COps IDA). The COps IDA's main role is reviewing and validating financial and management information submitted by alternative asset fund managers before it is released to our Clients large institutional investors (pension funds, insurance funds, sovereign wealth funds, endowments, etc.) and investment advisors across all geographies.
COps IDAs have full oversight and responsibility for the quality of data that is being released to Insight clients. The main skills that contribute to successful ownership of data quality are the ability to analyze data to identify inconsistencies and errors before it is released to the client, to communicate those issues with IDS Operations team, and obtain appropriate explanations. COps IDA should understand the complete validation and data release process and be able to effectively present it to clients as well as internal stakeholders.
Your day would include
- Monitoring of quarterly financial reporting cycle and data review ensuring that service is delivered timely and with expected quality
- Data delivery process from validation to data release to Clients
- Supporting data integration process between different Blackrock products
- Participation in regular meetings within the company and with Clients in the role of Data Expert
- Working closely with the implementation team on mapping and setting-up Client's regions
- Escalating identified issues as necessary to Account management or IDS Operations team
- Collaborating with other Blackrock departments for assigned Clients
- Transforming data as Proof of Concepts for potential Clients
- Regular internal reporting
If you see yourself doing these activities, then you probably have
- Bachelor's or Master's degree (Economics, Organizational Sciences, Mathematics, or related Accounting background)
- Advanced MS Office knowledge (especially Excel)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail is a must
- Independence
- 1-3 years` experience is a plus
- Deep sense of responsibility
- Organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills
- Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team and successfully manage multiple responsibilities
- Positive and team-oriented, can-do attitude
- Full business-level proficiency in English
