The Chief Investment Office (CIO) of Prudential conducts asset and liability management and portfolio construction for all of Prudential's domestic and international business operations

Prudential Select Strategies LLC is a registered investment adviser that originates, underwrites, and manages a diversified portfolio of fund investments across alternative investment strategies.. The team is organized into the following asset classes and teams Private Equity, Hedge Funds, Real Assets, Manager of Managers, Operational Due Diligence, Risk Management, and Performance Reporting.

The current EWA for this position is Hybrid and requires your on-site presence on a reoccurring basis as determined by your business. Your manager will provide additional details relative to the specific number of days you are expected to be on-site.

What you can expect

This role is a part of the CIO Analyst Program, a three-year, entry-level role within the Chief Investment Office. Our program provides exposure to multiple pockets of a dynamic organization while creating the opportunity for success and recognition through substantial and long-term business impact.

  • Work with the Prudential Select Strategies investment due diligence teams to review and assess the operations, internal controls and platform-specific risks of traditional and alternative investment managers.
  • Review managers' documentation, including but not limited to, offering memorandums, financial statements, regulatory filings, marketing materials, due diligence questionnaires, valuation policies and compliance policies and procedures.
  • Document operational due diligence findings and recommendations, as well as activities performed to support conclusions.
  • Effectively communicate summary conclusions to the investment committee.
  • Conduct periodic reviews of existing investment managers.
  • Work closely with the Prudential Select Strategies investment, risk, compliance, performance & analytics, and operations teams.

What you'll need

  • 0-2 years of prior financial services experience
  • Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance or accounting.
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA
  • Prudential does not provide visa sponsorship for this position. Successful candidates must possess the required US employment authorization to be eligible for consideration

  • Team-oriented with strong written, oral and interpersonal skills
  • Strong analytical, organizational and problem-solving skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Note Prudential is required by state specific laws to include the salary range for this role when hiring a resident in applicable locations.

The salary range for this role is from $80,000 to $88,000. Specific pricing for the role may vary within the above range based on many factors including geographic location, candidate experience, and skills.

Roles may also be eligible for additional compensation and/or benefits.

Eligibility to participate in a discretionary annual incentive program is subject to the rules governing the program, whereby an award, if any, depends on various factors including, without limitation, individual and organizational performance. In addition, employees are eligible for standard benefits package including paid time off, medical, dental and retirement.
