About this role
Position
We are looking for technical support consultant to work with a portfolio of external clients and internal partners who are using our products! You will help users make the most of that BlackRock Solutions has to offer by resolving issues in a timely and highly professional manner.
Since we are continuously expanding our business, we are constantly searching for new talented people to join our Aladdin for Alternatives support team
. Being in a technical and client facing position at the same time, you will be a direct representative of BlackRock.
About the role
Support Consultants are suited within the Global Client Services team, servicing Aladdin (public market) and eFront (private market) clients. We work closely with other internal teams such as Implementation, Account Managers and Engineers to provide outstanding service to our end-users! Handling day-to-day client relationships is a crucial part of the role. This implies developing sophisticated knowledge of both the product and the business of our clients (especially within the Private Equity space).
Your day would include
Providing support to
our clients and resolving software issues via ticketing system
Providing analysis of client's needs and evaluating the feasibility of their requirements
Prioritization of daily tasks based on
clients' needs
Developing advanced skills and knowledge in business, functional and technical areas
Performing client training and supporting solutions, conducting demonstrations and presentations
If you see yourself doing these activities, then you probably have
- Bachelor's
- degree in Organizational Sciences/ Econom
- ics
- /IT/Mathematics or relevant field
- Full professional proficiency in written/spoken English
- Strong analytical, problem-solving skills and soft skills
- Basic knowledge of MS SQL
- Superb communication and presentation skills, ability to adapt to all styles of people
- Independence in work and decision-making, great teammate
- Good time management and the ability to multi-task/balance parallel work streams
Great to have
- Knowledge in Corporate Finance and/or accounting background would be an asset
- An enthusiastic attitude towards new technology/IT
- Meaningful work experience in client servicing, technical/Product management or a similar role
- Experience with VB.net, VBA, JavaScript
- Previous experience implementing financial software solutions is a plus but not required
