What Youll Do

We are looking for a technically savvy individual to help manage our Global Retention schedule. Collaborate across IT, the business and with Legal to influence consistency in practice and policy implementation. Consult with IT Engineers on implementing Retention, Disposition, Legal Holds and eDiscovery against their data. Strong consulting, influence and facilitation skills are important.

Here are few examples of the kinds of things you'll do

  • Work with key stakeholders across different corporate functions, organizational levels, divisions, and countries to ensure critical practices are accurately implemented, including the following responsibilities
  • Work collaboratively with our business partners from security, compliance, risk, IT, legal, privacy, audit, architecture, and document management to enact updates and communicate changes to the Records Retention Schedule, Record Retention Policy, and Records Management Requirements.
  • Provide oversight and drive awareness to ensure the records management solutions are consistent with information governance and data protection practices to ensure compliance with applicable legal, regulatory, and business requirements in relevant jurisdictions.
  • Develop employee communications, quick reference guides, and training content to support records management functions(Retention, Disposition, Legal Hold, and eDiscovery).
  • Develop control testing and provide evidence to auditors of company compliance with records management policies and standards.
  • Perform quarterly reviews with a record retention schedule vendor to ensure the retention schedule meets international regulatory and legal requirements.
  • Ensure legal holds are accurately documented and communicated to all relevant contributors.
  • Defensibly collect information for the purpose of legal eDiscovery.

Who You Are

  • Associates or bachelors degree (preference in a computer science, technology, engineering or math-related field or equivalent experience) and 3+ years work experience.
  • Must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, experience in compliance, governance or other security-related field
  • Technical knowledge with expertise in at least one of the following, Records Retention Schedule administration, eDiscovery, Records and Information Management(RIM), Information Lifecycle Management (ILM), Information Governance(IG)
  • Understanding of legal regulations that impact records management.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and collaboration skills to effectively connect with business, legal, and technical development teams
  • Comfortable working in a continuous planning environment
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to adjust to changing requirements.
  • A highly developed intellectual curiosity and a willingness to build awareness of records management standard processes.
