What is HR Shared Services?
Our HR Shared Services team focuses on value creation through enhanced customer service delivery, improved customer satisfaction, and creating capacity within the Centers of Excellence (CoEs) of HR for increased strategic and business focus. We provide internal support for multiple HR functions/HR employees (e.g., Employee Relations, Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, Benefits, etc.). The HRSS Specialists provide tier one (Tier I) customer support to Franklin Templeton's employees and leaders in the Americas.
This is a hybrid position where the HRSS Specialist will be expected to work three days in the office and two days remotely.
What are the ongoing responsibilities but not limited to of an HRSS Specialist?
- Assist employees in a timely manner regarding benefits, compensation, immigration, leave of absence, HR policy and procedural questions.
- Support leader and employee self-service processes in
- support.
- Liaise with our Payroll department and other support teams to resolve employees' questions.
- Maintain appropriate level of process, program, and policy knowledge in order to assist employees.
- Updating/maintaining internal Shared Services Community process documentation.
- Ensure compliance with Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) policies.
- Support multiple HR functions with a variety of processes, projects and administrative tasks.
- Support Talent Acquisition with job postings, scheduling interviews, new hire onboarding, annual Intern Program efforts and conducting New Employee Orientation.
What ideal qualifications would help someone to be successful?
- 3-5 years relevant human resources, customer service, or administrative support experience
- Bachelors degree preferred or equivalent experience
- Problem solving skills, focus on technology, process improvement, and continuous learning
- Outstanding listening skills with ability to navigate and consult with employees through personal and sometimes difficult circumstances
- Ability to diagnose problems informed by data and lead correction efforts
- Ability to multitask in a high-paced environment with competing priorities
- Adaptable to changing environment
- Drives results and solutions-oriented
- Ability to place high priority on data integrity and security
- Ability to build credible relationships, demonstrate good judgement, and build on analytical skills
- Exceptional time management, organizational, prioritization and follow-up skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledge of Workday, MS Office, and Service Now (or other case management tools) desired
- Foundational HR knowledge or aPHR desired
