Head of Strategic Accounts - Intermediary
The Head of Strategic Accounts will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth and expanding market presence through strategic client relationships. This role requires a combination of sales expertise, financial acumen and strong leadership. The Head of Strategic Accounts will build a strategy to prioritize and deepen key client relationships.
Responsibilities include
- Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve revenue targets.
- Identify and prioritize key accounts and opportunities for growth.
- Align with distribution to achieve revenue targets.
- Build, maintain and deepen relationships with existing clients to maximize coverage of home office leadership, due diligence teams, advisory sales leadership, operations and logistics.
- Lead a team of account managers, providing guidance, support and mentorship to drive performance, advance relationships and exceed sales targets.
- Collaborate with cross functional teams including product development, marketing and operations to ensure alignment and delivery of solutions that meet client needs.
- Negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure profitability and sustainable growth for organization.
- Represent the organization at industry conferences and networking to enhance brand visibility and cultivate new business relationships.
- Stay abreast of industry regulations, compliance requirements and market dynamics to inform strategic decision making and mitigate risk.
Requirements
- Proven track record of success in sales, account management and business development within the financial services industry/Investment Practice
- Strong understanding of financial products and services.
- 10+ years Leadership experience.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Prefer advanced degree or designations such as CFA, CAIA, CIMA, CFP, CPA.
