What is the opportunity?

As the GSI Online Specialist, you will be the key contact for Plan Administrators, Advisors, Sales Representatives, and internal partners providing superior implementation support and service during the submission process of new client business and adding a new product for existing clients. You will proactively gather all submission document information ensuring all necessary clarification and approvals as well as resolving any outstanding questions prior to the final submission.

What will you do?

Send application link to new employees and complete follow-ups on all online new hires

Investigate and respond to online error inquiries regarding employees who are unable to access the GSI Online Application Tool

Review and Investigate HR Validation Online Error report to determine cause of errors originating from Group Portal

Provide application process training for existing clients

Manage conversion of paper cases to online process

Facilitate Plan Administrator training on conversion process for non-integrated groups

Inform, encourage, and share best practices with all internal/external partners to assist in achieving a seamless online application process

Demonstrate engagement through participation in 1x1 coaching, team meetings, huddles, training, contribution to employee engagement survey action plans and process improvement activities

Here's what we need from you

Must have

1 to 2 years experience in Insurance, preferably GSI or Group Insurance

Post-secondary and/or applicable work

Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Proven verbal and written communication skills

Presentation skills and techniques

Ability to work under tight timelines

Nice to have

Bilingual (French) is an asset

RBCI system knowledge (Ingenium, UnderwritingPro, CCT, BIC)

Sound knowledge of Microsoft Office
