Job summary

As an Analyst or Associate in the Futures & Options Electronic Execution Salesteam, you will be responsible for managing client relationships pertaining to real-time trading including trade consultation, market education, order execution, managing market risk, navigating regulatory framework, building customized execution solutions and product enhancement prioritization and coordination.

Job Responsibilities

  • Driving growth through superior service focusing on clients trading into global derivatives exchanges while managing existing client relationships, developing new ones and leveraging our best-in-class offering
  • Engaging with the clients and providing coverage for best execution in Listed Derivatives markets including use of Algorithms, discussing market structure and mechanics of trading, managing market risk, contingency execution of client orders, and post-trade analytics
  • Understanding client needs, conducting regular reviews, planning revenue/cost analysis and assisting clients in communicating their product needs and liaising with relevant product/business teams to develop/innovate platform product to drive electronic trading business
  • Developing and establishing key global relationships in Futures and Options markets
  • Managing and executing client orders across major markets and asset classes
  • Understanding the firms approach and policies for managing market risk and regulatory requirements
  • Interfacing with Audit and Compliance departments to ensure that Exchange and Regulator inquiries are addressed
  • Ensuring that procedures and operations are compliant to internal and external rules and regulations

Required Qualifications, Capabilities and Skills

  • You have previous experience (ideally 1 year) working in Financial Industry or role involving direct client sales and account management
  • You have Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in a business or numeric related subject
  • You demonstrate a basic knowledge of electronic trading, information flow and trading cycle
  • You demonstrate ability to communicate clearly and effectively with clients in a high-pressure environment, manage trading risk and drive revenue growth
  • You have basic understanding of execution platforms and market practices as determined by regulators
  • You possess quantitative/analytic skills and basic understanding of derivative markets
  • You are willing to quickly obtain the necessary FCA licenses to perform regulated activities in the United Kingdom
  • You are a team player, welcomes feedback, fast learner and ability to adapt to a pressured environment

This role encompasses the performance of UK regulated activity. The successful candidate will therefore be subject to meeting UK regulatory requirements in the assessment of fitness, propriety, knowledge and competence (as assessed by the Firm) and (where appropriate) approval by the UK Financial Conduct Authority and/or the Prudential Regulation Authority to carry out such activities.
