Who we are looking for
State Street Global Markets (SSGM) provides a broad spectrum of client financing solutions to a multitude of client types, across its Foreign Exchange Trading programs. Our Product Development Team, in alignment with business team leads, drives the comprehensive new product architecture and design which is critical to implementing the division's client-focused solution set.
SSGM seeks an executive to lead the global Product Development efforts. This individual will report jointly to the Head of Foreign Exchange Sales and Trading as well as the Head of Product Innovation and Business Development, work closely with other members of the SSGM senior leadership team, and work collaboratively with cross-business and cross-organizational support functions (e.g., Risk, Institutional Services, Segments/Sales, Legal, Compliance).

What you will be responsible for
In concert with Product Heads and Business Development leads, develops and drives execution of Foreign Exchange new product development and innovation
- Innovates, Architects and Designs new product to create markets leading opportunities
- Collaborates, evaluates, and validates concepts and plans with clients, partners, or vendors to develop new opportunities
- Works closely with senior executives and Product Management Team to execute business unit plans, product and geographic expansion efforts, ensuring delivery of a world class product as measured by market share, client satisfaction scores and various industry rankings
- Develops product road maps and other tools to communicate progress and portfolio of new products
- Represents State Street at key industry forums, to include speaker panels, relating to foreign exchange
- Stay abreast of and communicate industry trends
- Dynamically fosters a culture encouraging innovation and collaboration, supported by an appropriate risk framework
- Creates a risk and compliance culture that ensures adherence with applicable regulatory provisions, internal and external audit reviews, and overall risk controls

Education & Preferred Qualifications
- 10+ years of Financial Services experience, with at least 3-5 years of Foreign Exchange background
- MBA, CFA or similar strongly preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
