Who we are looking for

The Global Head of eFX Platform Sales will be responsible for building and growing the existing eFX franchise by providing leadership to salespeople across all three regions (APAC, EMEA, and Americas) and developing clear strategies around our eFX and FX Algo platforms.

This role will also work across the direct FX sales and trading teams with respect to eFX business development, growth and marketing. The role will focus on building, maintaining and understanding appropriate reporting tools which will aid in client optimization and sales/client feedback loop.

Coaching and developing the eFX salesforce will be an integral component of the role and the successful candidate will ensure their team has deep knowledge of key decision-makers at existing clients and are constantly working to identify new prospects and affect a strategy to onboard these targets.

Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.

What you will be responsible for

As

Global Head of eFX Platform Sales, MD

  • Motivate and train the eFX team across regions to help them meet core job expectations.
  • Have a sophisticated understanding of foreign exchange products and their application to asset managers including expertise in eFX and algo platforms.
  • Participate in the decision-making process of the global management team and be accountable for the creation and implementation of the global eFX strategy.
  • Work closely with the Global Head of Algos and Global Head of eFX Trading to develop and execute a successful business strategy.
  • Help manage and develop client relationships in order to facilitate appropriate use of our eFX services.
  • Assist colleagues on the desk to increase our penetration of eFX products and services, including Algo's to existing customer.
  • Cultivate our talent by ensuring appropriate training to help them meet their core job expectations. Strengthen our talent through increased diversity, mobility and training. Foster a culture of speaking up and challenge and debate and increase employee engagement.

  • acilitate and take ownership for new eFX business initiatives.
  • Work with the direct FX sales and trading teams to provide holistic answers to client's FX trading needs.
  • Help produce & maintain eFX reports which supplement weekly/monthly eFX meetings with key business stakeholders. Reports will focus on Volume, spreads, P&L, trends, new client pipeline, algo utilization, onboarding, etc.
  • Master and continue to develop QLIK reporting tools in support of eFX and FX sales team.
  • Assist in eFX & Algo sales / account management to key e-centric only execution clients (Banks, Hedge Funds, Broker Dealers, Retail aggregators, CTAs)
  • Secondary liaison for 3rd party FX trading vendor management relating specifically to client related issues (Currenex, FXALL, Bloomberg, Flextrade, Integral, FX Connect, FX Spot Stream etc).
  • Develop, prepare, and distribute new eFX/Algo Marketing materials
  • Work with eFX quants and the BA team to evolve reporting to allow for timely and effective monitoring of customers at the transaction level with objective of increasing volume and yield.
  • Work with the regional eFX salespeople to troubleshoot issues between the traditional Sales Team and the eFX desk with regards our customers eFX requirements.
  • Help facilitate appropriate onboarding of new customers. Manage interactions with the Onboarding team and the Trade Services support team to ensure a smooth and efficient experience for our customers.
  • Ensure all procedures, regulations and credit limits are adhered to and any issues escalated to senior management

What we value

  • Minimum 10+ years' experience in foreign exchange or related markets with a focus on eFX and FX algo platforms.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain effective client relationships.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team of salespeople.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of foreign exchange products and a solid understanding of the market infrastructure.
  • Strong computer skills/reporting skills. Proficient in excel, macros and pivot tables.
  • Ability to work in a solutions based approach to client needs across products.
  • Proven strong presentation skills and customer service orientation.
  • Proven initiative in building strong client relationships, including internal clients, and resolving client problems.
  • Conversant in all appropriate regulations surrounding the provision of capital markets products to clients.
  • Fully aware of all procedures, best practices, escalation policies and other codes of conduct relevant to the execution of the role.
  • Proven high ethical standard.

Education & Preferred Qualifications

  • Undergraduate degree or relevant/comparable professional qualification.
  • Travel 10%.
