The Global Fund Finance Strategic Partners Finance and Accounting group is responsible for the fund performance reporting and all aspects of accounting related to the Blackstone Strategic Partners funds. The group mainly provides support to front office professionals, addressing a variety of investor relations matters, and works with business development on new Funds and products. Additionally, the team supports Blackstone's internal marketing group and primarily deals with statistical and performance related data. The group also provides investment accounting support and reporting for portfolios managed under Blackstone Insurance Solutions.
Key responsibilities may include but are not limited to
- Prepare, review and post J/E into Investran (G/L accounting system)
- Manage the cash balance of each fund to determine the need for capital calls, distributions, etc.
- Review and prepare quarterly and annual financial statement packages including investor reporting
- Coordination of capital calls and distributions
- Reviewing of waterfall calculations
- Reviewing of management fee calculations and billing statements
- Review work product from outsourced providers
- Liaise with other areas of Blackstone, including tax, legal and treasury
- Review and understand partnership agreements
- Work closely with senior team members on accounting issues
- Assisting with special projects and internal ad hoc request
Qualifications
- 3+ years of related experience in public accounting and/or private equity fund administration
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- CPA (preferred, not required)
- Strong technical accounting and analytical skills
- Microsoft Office (Excel, Word and PowerPoint)
- Effectively manage and work with members of the team to ensure established deadlines are being met in an efficient, accurate, and thorough manner
- Ability to thrive in a team-based environment
- Effective verbal and written communicator
- Highly organized and proactive
- Ability to work in a dynamic environment and handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Strong sense of personal and professional integrity

Expected annual base salary range
Additional compensation Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.
Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individuals experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
