Blackstone Global Fund Finance Open-Ended Funds Finance Associate

Job Description

  • Responsible for day to day activities related to the fund accounting and reporting of European open-ended core real estate funds administered both externally and internally.
  • Work directly with internal and external teams to validate corporate level activity, including monthly subscription activity, promote calculations, management fee calculations, NAV allocations, liquidity forecasting, and corporate G&A
  • Partner with others in Real Estate Finance to strike monthly NAVs
  • Prepare quarterly close of BX deliverables
  • Prepare semi-annual and annual fund partnerships' financial statements
  • Manage day to day activities of offshore team
  • Coordinate with third party fund administrator
  • Coordinate with internal and external auditors
  • Involved in all system migration and implementation
  • Assist with ad hoc analysis and projects

Qualifications

  • BS (or above) in Accounting is required and CPA is a plus
  • 4+ Years of public/private accounting experience
  • European / Luxembourg Funds experience a plus
  • Retail Funds experience a plus
  • Experience with open-ended funds, real estate and/or private equity industry is preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to thrive in a team-based environment
  • Highly organized and proactive
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic environment
  • Detail oriented and possess strong work ethic ability to multi-task and execute a wide range of assignments strong time management skills
  • Ideal candidates would have a commitment to excellence in their work product and a desire to learn and grow as a professional

Expected annual base salary range

Additional compensation Base salary does not include other forms of compensation or benefits offered in connection with the advertised role.

Actual base salary within that range will be determined by several components including but not limited to the individuals experience, skills, qualifications and job location. For roles located outside of the US, please disregard the posted salary bands as these roles will follow a separate compensation process based on local market comparables.
