Job Summary & Responsibilities

Global Banking and Markets is seeking an Analyst to support Cross Asset Sales Equitiesin Dallas, Texas. The Global Banking and Markets division encompasses both FICC (Fixed Income, Currency and Commodities) and Equities businesses. The Dallas Team partners with leadership amongst these businesses to manage commercial initiatives and implement process improvements across the franchise. This rolesupports the desk withconfirmation, onboarding and fails management. Additionally, this role will include client communication and collaboration with various internal teams for trade-related requests.

The ideal candidate will have experience working successfully across diverse groups of cross-functional stakeholders and identify opportunities to driveefficient workflow and process improvements. A candidate should also demonstrate comfort with leveraging data and technology to execute efficiently, as well as excellent communication, a passion for financial markets, and interpersonal skills.

Primary Responsibilitie

  • Work directly with the Sales and Trading desks to facilitate day-to-day operations, may include client interactions for onboarding, account maintenance, and fail resolutions
  • Onboard clients onto GS platforms for trade execution and research
  • Own pre and post trade processes as a central touch point of contact for clients and internal teams
  • Maintain a strong pulse on market factors and aggregate commentary for clients and business leaders
  • Work as a liaison between clients and various teams to solve trade breaks or fails

Qualifications

Experience

  • Minimum 1-2 years work experience, preferably in financial services, Consulting, Operations, or Product Control
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills. Essential for interacting at various levels, across business disciplines and regions
  • Demonstrated interest in equities financial markets and products
  • Solid quantitative / statistical skill set with high level of detail accuracy
  • Strong problem solving, sound judgement, and decision making skills
  • SIE, Series 7, and Series 63 are beneficial
