Why this role is important to us
GCF is seeking a Global Head of Client Administration for GCF's lending portfolio, leading a team of subject matter experts who manage the set up, compliance, administration and servicing of GCF's clients globally. This team works in close collaboration with both GCF's Front Office Relationship Managers,
servicing/Transaction
The Boston-based position, reports to the Head of Centralized Functions, MD and is a member of the senior leadership team, and as such will play an important role in influencing the direction of GCF's overall product and client servicing strategy. The applicant should have significant client onboarding, credit/banking and client administration experience as well as an understanding of State Street's role, value proposition, visibility, evolving client needs and industry developments in Credit lending markets.
What you will be responsible for
- Develop and lead a high performing, global team working with internal clients and stakeholders to deliver a client focused and efficient service experience
- Oversee management of Client Administration, including AML/KYC, regulatory compliance and deal execution
- Provide input and guidance into the development and assessment of new products and services
- Steer relationships with internal and external service providers including management of vendor interactions.
- Champion a culture of risk excellence and ensure adherence to State Street's internal Risk Management and Control frameworks
- Manage and coordinate internal reviews, audits and regulatory exams
- Direct and influence GCF's systems architecture, technology improvements and deal workflow
- Represent GCF in all applicable committees, boards and advisory forums
Education & Preferred Qualifications
- Advanced degree in a relevant field or equivalent
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in Credit
- Servicing/Operations,
- Demonstrated ability to identify and manages operational risks
- Builds trust and collaborates with key internal stakeholders through excellent communication and influencing skills
- Demonstrated understanding of the importance of pro-active, transparent and constructive relationships
- Inspirational leader of people who builds and leverages diverse talent that consistently delivers against team goals
- Demonstrated ability to provide fresh insights, resilient and a leader of change
