Job Description

Reporting to the Head of FX CBB Sales, the candidate will be responsible for supporting and servicing the clients of the Retail, Small Business Banking and Affluent Wealth FX sales team. As well as developing and maintaining relationships with specific clients, responsibilities may include supporting our Business Banking segment as well. Duties will include the day-to-day execution of FX transactions, payment investigations and resolution, prospecting and developing new clients, maintaining a portfolio of existing clients and providing FX payment, investment and risk management solutions.Candidate should possess a strong knowledge of financial markets.

Key Responsibilities

  • The execution of client FX transactions to include Spot, Forward and Option trades as well as order management and trade query resolution
  • Providing education and partnership to internal partners in the banks branch network
  • Lead in collating presentation materials and participate in client conversations surrounding currency risk management
  • Work closely on internal projects and analytical work for clients
  • Collaborate with broader client coverage teams including relationship, treasury management, credit in addressing client needs
  • Work closely with our internal trading, middle and back-office functions to support client trading activity
  • Create a dynamic team environment providing support to colleagues across all activities on the desk

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree. Major or minor in economics or finance preferred
  • 2-4 years' experience in the foreign exchange market
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Position requires detailed time management skills, including multi-tasking and prioritizing daily tasks.
  • Quantitative skills, must be proficient in Excel including data manipulation and statistical modelling.
  • The ability to work in a high volume, fast paced environment with attention to detail critical.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to analyze and evaluate data to offer conclusions and recommendations.
  • Self-motivated with a keen desire to learn and contribute within a dynamic team environment.

The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means theres an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days
