Job Description
Position Highlights
- Responsible for managing, monitoring, and coordinating fraud loss forecasting and planning for card, deposit, and loan products.
- Assembles complex sets of moving parts, builds loss assumptions and projections, and tells the fraud loss story to an executive audience.
- Leverages relevant data sources and collaborates across multiple functional areas to inform loss assumptions.
- Partners with finance teams to establish long range fraud loss plans and projections.
- Evaluates loss impact of fraud events and articulates root cause to inform loss projections and forecasts.
Basic Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience.
- Typically more than 6 years of related experience
Preferred Skills and Experience
- Strong SAS or SQL programing and analysis skills and experience are required
- Seven to ten years of experience in finance or accounting.
- Proficient computer navigation skills using a variety of software packages including Microsoft Office applications and data analysis software.
- Strong written and verbal presentation experience to upper management and executive levels.
- Knowledge of industry KPI's and associated data that make up those measures.
- Strong project management skills.
- High attention to detail for executive level reports.
- Comprehensive knowledge of relevant departmental data sources associated with fraud loss risk.
- Strong analytical skills relative to evaluation of loss impact of fraud events and root cause to inform loss projections and forecasting fraud loss trends.
