What Youll Do

Workplace Savings & Retirement Solutions is looking for two Financial Analysts to join the Finance team! You'll be responsible for assisting with forecasting, reporting, planning, pricing models, profitability analysis, and more!

We're looking for someone who thrives on solving unique problems with advanced analytical skills and enjoys working with several internal partners and tools.

You'll have the opportunity to

  • Perform financial analysis for WSRS initiatives, including but not limited to plan pricing and profitability, strategic and/or cross business unit projects, and experience/assumption studies
  • Leverage large amounts of data to prepare and communicate a variety of financial reports to other teams and senior leadership
  • Analyze financial information and develop the financial case for initiatives impacting Principals retirement and/or workplace personal investing businesses
  • Present and communicate financial analyses to leadership in a clear and concise way
  • Work towards self-development by expanding knowledge of department, line of business, and industry
  • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required

Who You Are

  • Bachelors degree in finance, actuarial science, math, accounting, or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant financial analysis, financial modeling / forecasting experience preferred
  • Experience with Microsoft applications, specifically Excel (familiarity with formulas, functions, pivot tables, and modeling best practices)
  • SAS, PowerBI, SQL experience or a strong desire to learn
  • Self-motivated with excellent problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills
  • Strong technical, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills
  • Ability to embrace and understand the change process, and effectively guides others through change

Work Environments

This role offers in-office, hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek), and remote work arrangements (only if residing more than 30 miles from Des Moines, IA, or Charlotte, NC). You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.

We'll consider talent at the next level (Financial Analyst V) with the right experiences and skills.
