This role is a phenomenal opportunity to leverage your financial analysis background and knowledge of investments to do comprehensive financial modeling and forecasting!

The work

requires engagement at senior levels of the business to develop assumption based income forecasts and financial models.

is highly collaborative working with asset modelers, General Account Portfolio Management Teams & senior leaders of several Business Units.

The selected candidate will

  • Complete financial analysis and reporting on net investment income for all operational sectors, using specialized knowledge and expertise.
  • Manage reporting (forecasts, models, actuals), delivering key, concise messages to stakeholders that tell the story around net investment income.
  • Lead / support various projects that create and streamline processes that improve our modeling capabilities, tools and overall understanding of net investment income.

Who You Are

  • Bachelors degree in math, actuarial science, accounting, finance or related field
  • 4+ years of relevant financial analysis experience, financial modeling / forecasting experience preferred
  • Strong Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Aptitude in databases and query languages, SQL or similar, is preferred

be self-motivated with excellent problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills demonstrate the ability to embrace and understand the change process, and effectively guides others through change.

This position will be based out of our Des Moines, IA location.
