What Youll Do

We're looking for a Financial Analyst IV to join our Investment Risk team. In this role, you'll partner with the investment management team, business segments, and the enterprise risk management function to assess and manage asset risks, including credit risk, market risk, real estate risk, and liquidity risk.

  • Risk and Asset Modeling day-to-day leadership of credit risk modeling function, leading review and analysis of results. Lead and execute risk model enhancement projects. Provide investment assumptions guidance.
  • Forecasting support enterprise financial forecasts by quantifying and forecasting credit risk and credit drift under various economic scenarios.
  • Consulting collaborate with investment and corporate teams on investment risk, asset allocation and complex asset analysis.

Who You Are

  • Bachelors degree in math, actuarial science, finance or related field.
  • 4+ years of relevant experience.
  • Self motivated with excellent problem solving, leadership, and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, customer service and organizational skills.
  • Demonstrates the ability to embrace and understand the change process, and effectively guides others through change.
  • Knowledge of spreadsheet and database or similar PC software packages, or the ability to learn is preferred
  • Aptitude in programming languages is preferred

Work Environments

This role offers in-office, and hybrid (blending at least three office days in a typical workweek) work arrangements in our Des Moines, IA office. You'll work with your leader to figure out which option may align best based on several factors.
