About the Role

This role will report to the Business Execution Director for Banking, Lending & Trust and will dotted-line report into the Head of Trust Services. The successful candidate will have the following primary responsibilities

  • Act as a strategic partner to the Trust Services LOB within BL&T/WIM providing expertise on capabilities aligned to this group.
  • Serve as a single point of contact for the Trust Services teams in the Philippines handling issues and escalations directly with business partners.
  • Build expertise in the local recruiting market, networking with other financial services firms and lines of business within the firm to ensure a robust pipeline of top Trust talent is continuously identified and cultivated.
  • Develop and guide a culture of talent development to meet business objectives and strategy
  • Manage allocation of people and financial resources to ensure commitments are met and align with strategic objectives in Trust Services
  • Partner in the tactical planning functions related to new transitions, changes to existing transitions and process improvement, contribute to the evolution of a multi-year transformation roadmap.
  • Display leadership/partnership skills with a strong working knowledge of the businesses in Trust Services.
  • Provide leadership to all aligned teams to improve processes, implement controls, manage resources, and deliver exemplary client and partner experience.
  • Ensure operational policies and procedures comply with regulatory compliance for all aligned capabilities.
  • Develop and execute processes and tools to hold individuals and teams accountable for progress.
  • Ensure all compliance and regulatory requirements are implemented, and SLAs to all partners and stakeholders are met.
  • Participate in the review of end-to-end Trust Services business processes to determine where we can simplify and create more efficiencies.
  • Develop and leverage data-based insights to manage teams and drive continuous improvement.

Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of Fiduciary Products experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following work experience, training, military experience, education
  • 4+ years of management experience

  • Solid risk management skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage through middle managers
  • Demonstrates a high degree of reliability, integrity, and trustworthiness in all areas
  • A seasoned, relationship-driven leader who will have the style and sensitivity to work within a highly complex business environment. Multi-cultural sensitivity is a must.
  • Exhibits excellent problem solving and analytical kills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to articulate issues, risks, and proposed solutions to various levels of staff and management
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and across all organizational levels, where flexibility, collaboration, and adaptability are important
