The Executive Security Coordinator will follow established security and emergency response procedures and protocols, to maintain the integrity of the executives office space and to ensure the executives safety while they are in the office or during transport to and during events, while supporting special physical security projects.
- Conducts executive suite security by maintaining the integrity of the executive suite through access control of visitors and deliveries.
- Greets clients/partners and tracks appointments as part of access control function.
- Following inspection of the offices, floor and meeting rooms, locks up the office space after executives have left in the evening and opens up in the morning.
- Interacts with high level executives, clients and guests on a continual basis.
- Prepares work schedules for other Executive Security Coordinators when acting as Lead Executive Security Coordinator.
- Maintains executive suite emergency preparedness by ensuring evacuation and shelter-in-place drills are conducted as scheduled and life safety equipment is maintained, while obtaining CPR certification and first responder training.
- Conducts protective operations through executive transport of executive management group members to/from residences, events, airports, etc.
- Provides protective escorts of VIP visitors through company headquarters or to nearby parking facilities, hotels or other venues.
- Maintains threat intelligence awareness by obtaining visibility of potential threats through communication with GPSS management and the Security Operations Center to inform executive protection functions
- Supports Global Physical Security Services management by conducting special projects, such as security research and information and data collection, as well as assisting the non-financial risk and information security teams with enforcement of information security policies.
COMPETENCIES/SKILLS
- 2 years of law enforcement, military or prior corporate security service experience
- High School Diploma
- Some college education preferred, but not required.
- Requires established security skills and mindset to perform a range of routine day-to-day protective operations-related activities
- Uses communication skills to interact with high level executives and guests and to collaborate and exchange information with other Global Physical Security Services personnel
- Maintains knowledge of banks security and emergency response procedures and protocols, acquired through on-the-job training
- Understands how the assigned protective duties relate to others on the Global Physical Security Services team and how the team integrates with and supports other teams within the company
CERTIFICATION/LICENSES
- Valid driver's license
- Professional security certifications preferred, but not required
- Maintains CPR certification following training provided by Global Physical Security Services
