CORPORATE COMMUNICATIONS
The Corporate Communications team within the Executive Office of Goldman Sachs seeks to protect and enhance the firms culture, brand and reputation.
The Associate role
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Help develop and execute proactive media engagement programs across the Executive Office and our businesses
- Contribute to strategic communications planning for theExecutive Office across a range of issues including policy and advocacy, investor relations, and the firm's strategy
- Lead the development of all written materials including press releases, talking points, briefings and statements
- Collaborate with other Executive Office functions to handle corporate issues for the firm in a holistic manner
- Maintain and develop relationships with reporters at target publications
- Contribute to media monitoring, analysis and reporting processes to provide timely updates and insights to senior leadership
KEY ATTRIBUTES AND EXPERIENCE
- Strong written and verbal skills with a demonstrable passion for communications and knowledge of the media landscape
- A minimum of 4-8 years of experience, government experience preferred
- Knowledge and enthusiasm for the financial services and policy communications
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines, often under time pressure, while maintaining high standards and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic high energy, high integrity, team-oriented with a well-organized can do approach

The expected base salary for this New York, New York, United States-based position is $100000-$160000. In addition, you may be eligible for a discretionary bonus if you are an active employee as of fiscal year-end.
