We have an exciting opportunity for a Data Governance Analyst to join our Data team in Gurugram within the Financial Management Group. You will support the team in delivering high-quality data, enabling our stakeholders to report effectively and make smart, data-driven decisions.

What role will you play?

In this role, you will be responsible for implementing the Enterprise Data Management (EDM) framework to ensure that critical data is governed. This will involve evaluating the critical usages of data consumers and the associated Critical Data Elements (CDE). Using EDM tools like Collibra, you will document the required metadata such as definitions, business requirements, data lineages, and data quality controls for the critical data elements.

Additionally, you will define high-quality business rules and collaborate with multiple Group Data Office teams to agree on data quality requirements. You will also work with platform teams to implement data quality rules.

What you offer

  • 3-5 years of post-qualification experience in data and information management roles, preferably within the financial services industry.
  • Strong understanding of enterprise data management, as well as data quality and data risk concepts. Practical experience with data management tools like Collibra, SQL (desired), and JIRA.
  • A Finance graduate with a solid understanding of finance and/or product knowledge of financial instruments.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, including listening and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to demonstrate strong relationship-building skills with finance teams and senior management in relation to anticipated issues and competing and changing priorities.
