Your role will be instrumental in providing crucial administrative support and ensuring the seamless operation of the department. Primary Duties and Responsibilities

  • Manage schedules, business travel, and expenses/budgets.
  • Maintain office supplies inventory and handle invoices.
  • Take minutes during meetings and ensure accurate and timely distribution.
  • Identify opportunities for process and procedure efficiencies within the department.
  • Propose and implement improvements to streamline workflows and enhance productivity.
  • Coordinate department meetings, town halls, committee meetings, and events.
  • Prepare agendas, gather materials, and ensure smooth logistics for these gatherings.
  • Prepare and provide necessary information, including reports, data analysis, and presentations.
  • Assist in coordinating employee events, facilitating team communication, and contributing to onboarding and orientation processes.
  • Support and potentially lead projects as assigned.
  • Provide work direction to other administrative or temporary staff, as needed.

Bring Your Best! What this role needs

  • Five or more years of administrative assistant experience.
  • Associates degree or specialized training, or equivalent experience (college degree preferred).
  • Proficiency in MS Office at advanced levels.
  • Strong organization and planning skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and coordinate information using good judgment.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle multiple priorities and adapt to rapidly changing needs and priorities.
