THE
POSITION
We are seeking a
n
Equity
Portfolio Analyst
to join the
Equity Portfolio Implementation
T
eam
in our Boston location. In this role, the individual will be a member of a global team that supports the portfolio management activities of the firm's equity investors.
Previous
asset management industry experience is preferred for this role, although candidates from other backgrounds will also be considered
.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work closely with the investment teams and traders to ensure
- timely
- and
- accurate
- execution of investment strategies across client portfolios
- Rebalance portfolios in response to investment strategies, cash flows, benchmark changes, market price movements, and changes in client
- guidelines
- Monitor positions and verify that transactions are consistent with client guidelines
- Interact with many areas of the firm to improve processes and minimize operational risks
- Monitor performance, risk exposures and key market sensitivities of positions in
- portfolios
- Provide
- additional
- value-added
- contributions to investment teams on a customized basis, such as risk analysis, syndicate recommendations, detailed portfolio data reporting and analysis, exposure tracking, and custom portfolio management
- Work with Investment Technology on the development of and enhancements to investment implementation and monitoring tools
QUALIFICATIONS
The successful candidate for this position is likely to have
- 0-5 years of relevant professional
- experience
- Prior asset management industry experience is preferred
- Demonstrated strong understanding of, and interest in, global markets and securities, including equities, bonds, currency, and derivatives
- Advanced analytical skills
- Quantitative orientation
- Detail oriented mindset
- Strong communication

- A
- bility to work independently and contribute as part of a team
- Proficient programming skills in Python is preferred, but not
