Employee Relations Team. Our Employee Relations team provides comprehensive legal and strategic employee relations advice and support to a workforce of approximately 4,000 employees across Macquaries businesses in the Americas (U.S., Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Chile)

What role will you play?
- As an Employee Relations Consultants you will be responsible for counseling on a wide range of employment-related matters, including negotiating employment terms for new hires, overseeing the performance management process, and advising on terminations, reductions-in-force, and business restructures alongside partnering with the Benefits Team to manage disability claims as they impact ongoing employment and the Rewards Team on executive compensation issues.
- Your role will also involve overseeing litigation matters handled by outside counsel and legal risk management in matters raising potential litigation concerns as well as overseeing compliance with applicable labor and employment laws and regularly monitoring relevant jurisdictions for material legal updates.
- Additionally, you will be tasked with conducting employment policy research and drafting to ensure compliance with all applicable employment-related laws, regulations, and guidelines
Salary range for this position $185,000 215,000 Year. Actual base salary may vary based upon, but not limited to, relevant experience, time in role, peer and market data, prior performance, business sector, and geographic location. You may also be eligible for an annual discretionary incentive compensation award. We offer

- 7 years + of employment law and litigation experience, preferred with practical knowledge of federal, state and local employment laws in the U.S. required
- Possess material in-house employee relations or employment legal experience within financial services or other professional services companies
