Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and monitor global programs and processes in support of State Street's Employee Networks (EN) globally.
  • Build a comprehensive EN programmatic strategy comprised of an integrated portfolio of programs that directly support the networks' strategic goals.
  • Develop a strategic data and reporting approach, partnering closely with Workforce Planning & Insights team to define reporting needs, identify metrics, and build solutions for measuring EN success and impact.
  • Design and implement a best-in-class EN governance framework inclusive of Executive Sponsors, Regional Councils, Business Councils, and EN Leaders
  • Partner closely with GHR-CC COE leads to maximize the impact of our networks both internally and externally.
  • Serve as key partner to Chief Diversity Officer and GIDE Team Lead on EN budget related strategy including reviewing and approving partnerships, surveys, and/or development opportunities for
  • leadership/membership.
  • Assess relevant external benchmarking data, research, studies, and articles to inform EN strategies and assist EN leaders in staying current on the latest trends.
  • Partner with Talent Development & Learning teams to oversee implementation of best-in-class training programs that build EN leader skills in promoting an inclusive environment.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition/sourcing and University Relations on recruitment program design to strengthen State Street's reputation as an employer of choice among diverse talent.
  • Lead a team of skilled GIDE practitioners as direct reports, as well as GIDE advocates across the organization, to build a broad base of support for programs and goals.
  • Represent State Street both internally and externally as a GIDE SME

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business, or related field master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience and subject matter expertise in the ID&E field, including knowledge of industry best practices
  • Experience developing, executing, and assessing ERG/Employee Network programs.
  • Prior experience in consulting and/or project management
  • Ability to understand, synthesize, analyze, and interpret data, and communicate relevant insights in a manner that resonates with stakeholders.
  • Exceptional communication skills and ability to present with impact to a variety of audiences.
  • Experience navigating complex organizations and influencing stakeholders of all levels.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead others, particularly in matrixed settings.
